Meet Joe

Joe is the caterpillar who was donated to us by B.  We watched him turn himself into a chrysalis last week and we have been patiently watching to see what would happen.  This  morning Joe finally emerged as a beautiful Painted Lady butterfly.  The kinders spent this morning watching him dry his wings and were very excited when he flapped them for the first time.  This afternoon we took him to the peace garden at the school and watched him fly away.  Take a look at our photos.

Reminders

Library books are due back ASAP.  Notes will be going home tonight as a reminder from the library if it has yet to be received.

Also,

A note went home on Friday about our Tuesday rain date for Brewer Park being cancelled.  The kindergarten team is busy planning a special day next week to make up for the cancellation.  Stay tuned!

Scientists in the School

Last week scientists in the school visited us.  We had a blast learning about bugs and conducting science experiments!  He are some pics of our fun day!

Stormy Weather

Thunderstorms and tornadoes have taken over out kinder room this week.  We've been asking questions, writing, doing experiments and reading books (thanks Madame!) to learn more about this type of weather.  We even made tornadoes in bottles!

  Family fun fair forms are due back by Thursday, June 5th.  

June scholastic orders are going home today and are due back Monday June 9th.  Please note that this is your last opportunity to get some new books for the summer for this school year.  Thank you again for supporting us through your scholastic orders.
